Think about what you already know about alternative energy sources. With your cooperative group, open, print and complete the first two columns of thsi K-W-L chart: K=What you already know, W=What you want to know and L=what you learned (this step will be created at the end of the project).

Earth's Natural Resources.pdf Pay careful attention to your assigned resource. Discuss with your group: 1) Where is this energy found? 2) How is it formed? 3) What types of energy does it produce? 4) How is it used? 5) How can you convince people in your community to try this alternative form of energy? Here's how your project will be graded:
It's time to wrap up your research from Tuesday. Begin thinking about what information that you have found. What do you think is most important for other students to know about your resource? Someone in your group should organize your ideas into a speech for your Voki while others need to rehearse how to answer questions your audience might ask. You may use your notes, but you should rehearse you message many times.
Thursday
Create your team's Voki. Your Voki and team presentation should be no more than 5-7 minutes in length including a short question and answer session. Be sure to check the script for your Voki to make sure that it completely answers the following research questions:
Where is this energy found?
